B. Bryant has grown approximately eight and half acres of tobacco for the past 7 years. Due to the declining demand of burley tobacco Bill Bryant is transitioning one acre of his land into commercial tomato production. Bryant will plan and execute the building of a packing and storage house for the tomatoes.

Expected income from use of the new packing house $32,000.

Because of this grant "I will be able to produce more tomatoes with less labor costs compared to tobacco costs."
