G. Ploeger with her husband Robert started Cane Creek Asparagus Company to provide high quality vegetables to a niche market in their area. Through this grant program Cane Creek Asparagus Company has expanded production and marketing outreach.

Expected income totals $4,166 in next 2 years.

Because of this grant "We will be able to expand our gardens to grow a greater variety of vegetables so we can fully utilize our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) market."
