Harold Jenkins was in burley tobacco for years. In an effort to diversify his income and get out of tobacco, Harold applied for this grant and used those funds to put in a stock trout pond. Grant monies assisted in digging the pond, putting in supply pipe and stocking it.

Expects to raise 5,000 pounds of fish per year.

This grant will help to "diversify from tobacco income, due to the loss in quota and support."
