W. Avery owns a large Christmas tree farm that offers choose and cut from November to January. With the help of their local extension agent, W. Avery’s family will create a 3-4 acre corn maze marketed at new and existing clients for the choose and cut Christmas tree operation.

Expected income from 5,000 visitors in 2004 will be $20,000.

Because of this grant "Our family will have income during the time of year which this farm usually has none."
