Dickie Jarret has created a radiant heating system for the floor of his greenhouse to utilize the area below the bedding tables. Mr. Jarret will root native shrubs to sell in the winter months. With help from his local NC Cooperative Extension agent, Jerry Moody, Dickie Jarret will reduce the use of fuel in winter months and increase sales of shrubbery year round.

Expected income from this project in next two years is $2,600.

Because of this grant "I will have a steady income from selling shrubbery than from selling bedding plants only."
