Chris Owen, owner of Spinning Spider Creamery in Madison County, is improving her cheese aging facility so that she can increase her production of hard cheeses.

The additions will also make the creamery more inviting to customers. Chris is offering cheese-making classes at her farm.

"The grant gave me the security to know I could make the step," Chris said. "Also, I gave thought to what the grant was asking for -- especially agritourism -- and added the cheese-making classes as a direct result."
