Hardin Wrenn of Madison County is building an energy-efficient and water-saving greenhouse to improve the production of his mums. He sells to local retailers and tailgate markets.
He has added more than 1,000 mums to his operation because of the grant.

"With the grant, I hope to produce a better plant," Hardin said. "Plus, the irrigation system will hopefully save me a lot on labor. I'll spend less time watering."
