Fruits & Vegetables;
Beekeeping; U-Pick Farm

Mike has a great appreciation for his grandfather and father who have farmed all their lives, and he wants to follow in their footsteps. He also hopes the income from his business will provide savings for his children's education.

Mike is committed to following organic standards and establishing bee hives because these practices improve environmental health.

Micheal Creason

Micheal Creason is establishing bee hives and a U-Pick blueberry operation with his grant.

"I just retired and I'm looking to focus my energies and directions," Mike said. "I wanted to make a contribution to the community - something that's helpful for people in providing food supply and also improves the environment."
