Season Extension

With the help of the grant, Nicole Del Coqlano and Gaelen Corozine of Green Toe Ground in Yancey County are offering a winter share to their Community Supported Agriculture members.

They are storing root crops for winter and constructing high tunnels to grow tender crops in the cool weather. Green Toe Ground also sells at the Asheville City Market and other tailgate markets.
