Charlie & Barbara Kissling
The Kisslings have raised beef cattle and ornamentals since 1997, are small business owners, and have 25 years of experience in food service. With the award, they will market their beef to retail markets with several new advertising techniques. They aim to genetically improve their herd using an artificial insemination program, targeting premium markets. They currently raise Black Angus, Simmental crosses and Scotch Highland cattle.
