The McConnells are building a specialty screened greenhouse that allows for second generation and virtually disease-free plants to be supplied to commercial plant producers. The project results in a highly desirable product for commercial nurseries and also for the fruit grower.

With the technological improvements, McConnell Farms can also produce certified organic strawberry plants, a great need for local organic farmers in the region. The farm employs 50 full & part-time employees.
