$6,000 - Cage-Free Rabbits

Steve and Dawn are developing a cage-free rabbit operation with the goal of increasing their existing rabbit production in a humane way.

They are incorporating into their rabbit barn a cement warren that has dirt mounds with pre-constructed underground birthing dens. They currently sell at two Asheville area tailgate markets and local restaurants, which include "menu stuffers" to advertise East Fork Farm products.
