Upgrades to Production Facility

To increase consistency of his product and expand production to meet demand of culinary and medicinal mushrooms, High Country Fungi made improvements to their current growing facility.
They added an additional pneumatic bagger for grain spawn, upgraded to a high pressure misting system, replaced shelving and converted from plastic to biodegradable bagging for a more sustainable operation.
High Country Fungi currently supplies a local CSA, multiple restaurants in Avery and Watauga Counties and sell at multiple farmers markets. In addition to selling mushrooms, they also produce medicinal mushroom tinctures and sell grow/spawn bags to customers interested in growing mushrooms themselves.
